This! From my research, it looks like there are actually 3 variants. I've purchased four copies in search of all of them, but just can't find the third variant or the one that's labeled as variant "C" also known as the fractal. I have the variants "A" and "B". I haven't received my fourth one yet, so I'm hoping I can complete them.
Has anyone else tried to collect all the variants?
Edit: doh! Just went back and saw others asking the same!
A person or group which is used or controlled, usually unwittingly, by another person or group.

I’m starting to tune out about halfway through each song. They’re too long. Need more Maynard, tighter direction, less jammy. The songs are missing that climactic release of tension. They set a theme, tease, and then gradually unwind and meander which can be creative in one sense, boring in another.
This is exactly why I love it so much on first listen. This is their jam-band album. Jam the fuck out Tool!
NO other jam band can jam like this.
Yo William, so happy for you making it to the other side. Enjoy repeated journeys into FI. Dividends will be paid.

Holy Mackerel. That was a 7ucking ride! I honestly was not expecting this record to sound so good. I went into this first listen completely blind. No live songs on Youtube, no single, no reviews. I was expecting a decent album on par with 10,000 Days. I was very wrong making that assumption. Every song is pretty incredibly written. Maynard effortlessly weaves in and out of the compositions. The production on this album! Evil Joe outdid himself on this one. That's all I got for now. I think I'm going back in for a second listen.
Pneuma!
...And hearing Invincible for the first time tonight! You guys weren't kidding about that song.
This brings me a lot of joy man! As does seeing so many of the reactions and the shared happiness for each others experience listening to the beast of an album! Descending is really resonating with me.
The album sets up nicely for a front to back live setlist... Now to find a cheap flight from Portland to LA.

So I have the Danny Carey one you got any trades to offer? Not really looking to let it go but if there’s something really convincing we could maybe do a swap.

Copycat. Was that you outside my window?
Yes
But for real though this thing is great. Someone mentioned the first cookie sheet with the holes cut in the top and bottom may be for weaving? anyone tried that?
