That's not how they spell compilation on that site.

So I've been told.

What an epic album.

I went through so many emotions and thoughts while listening to it.

It definitely feels like a natural evolution, not a progression or shift...just them doing their Tool thing...and I loved it.

Jamming, playing out, experimenting, coming back together, melodic, repetitive, heavy hitting, introspective, psychedelic ufo sounds, just a little bit of everything they're known for and then some. Just blown away by what they made, and what a great addition to their catalog.

Above all else it felt like a live performance at times. I kept thinking, they've made an album that approximates what their shows have been like these past few years.

Honestly, if they just played this album from start to finish on their upcoming tour I'd be thrilled (segues and all). :D

Obviously looking forward to my next listen, but I'm loving this afterglow of the first one. What an experience.

I've got some catching up to do in the other threads, and I'm looking forward to reading what Bill, Specter, and everyone else who held out listening thinks. We made it!!!

It is a public holiday today on the Gold Coast and I have finally been able to listen to the album in my car (twice actually). I am loving every second of this album, it is awesome. I am sure that it will continue to grow on me more and more as well, as I get to know the songs better... Amazing that all the waiting and anticipation is now over, waiting for the TOOL album had become a hobby for me.
Be good to each other.

Absolutely killer isn't it. Man I'm buzzing reading everyone's reactions to this. Such a long journey on this forum hanging onto little tidbits of hope so many long years ago, will they play new music this tour etc. Stoked the day is finally here!

And cheers Norm. Don't recall my initial comments, will have to go back and see now.

Just trying to understand what you’re on about. If it’s not your first language, it would make more sense. Who’s being abrasive? I’m smooth as fuck.
