Added a few pics to the 28th April Melbourne thread if anyone wanted to have a sneak peak at what is going down this tour...if you scroll down to the pics quickly you probably won't get any spoilers within the thread, in saying that the pics might give a bit away!

Sorry, been quite busy this week so haven't created threads for Bris & NZ yet.  Watch for one over the weekend, and thanks for the info.

From what I hear, the El Tajin Festival is sold out, and the Mexico City show is not far behind. Apprently the Monterray show has appeared in local newspapers, so I imagine that date will be confirmed shortly.

Wow, that is crazy. Imagine if they were actually supporting a new album?

Tool is more popular than I already thought they were if they're selling out arenas in Mexico that fast .

It doesn't really surprise me that much - when Tool hasn't toured your country for over 20 years it's makes sense that shows there would sell out pretty quick. To most Mexicans, I doubt the fact they will or won't be supporting a new album is of little concern when they go and buy tickets to a show they've never had a chance to see.

No I get that part of it.

I've actually been to parts of Mexico and am quite familiar with their music/entertainment industries. Not the kind of place I thought would be big on them. But that's on me for making such a broad generalization.

My "new album" comment was more of a "it'd be even crazier" thought.

I speak some. roughly it says: "no blades, no bows, leave your weapons here, no blades, no bows, leave your weapons here" over and over again.

I do. As NYHC said, it's basically all the rules and regulations that are printed on ticketmaster tickets (for example).

The title says "important information" and the top right hand corner has the confirmed Mx City date and the other two as of yet unconfirmed ones.

important information

disclaimers (limitations of responsibility)

...a ticket for the event of Tool and use for entry...
...event takes place, you voluntarily assume...
...incidentally caused by events before...
...you waive any complaint...
...either you...

obviously open to interpretation regarding tense, sentence structure, local dialect, etc. pending unseen and adjoining words and use of lanquage .. for example, I anticipate 'you waive any complaint' to be connected to additional terms that better enunciate your agreement that you waive any rights you may otherwise have to make a claim (and/or complaint) in relation to the event promoter or venue for loss of ticket, injury, etc.
well piss on my tits and tell me it's raining
