Re: Questions for Adam
I'd ask him how he modified the electric shaver he uses for those odd pick-slide sounds in songs, those are a pain to recreate.
I do really hope they continue this.

Re: Questions for Adam
I imagine that would depend entirely on the tour, where it is and who is organising it, and can't really be answered until there is some kind of tour announcement.edin wrote:This isn't a question for Adam
Is there any word on if there will VIP packages for future tours?
Re: Questions for Adam
I wonder what ever happened to that story that journalist was working on in regards to this.

Some journalist popped on Faster Louder requesting participants contact him in regards to their experience, heard nothing since.
Re: Questions for Adam
I remember this. I haven't heard anything either, but I believe one Fourtheye member was happy for me to forward his details. The journo was Craig Mathieson and I believe the article (at least as far as he introduced himself to me) was for SMH or The Age. Not sure why either of those papers give a shit about Tool VIP tickets.

And do what? Jerk them off?
I'd be happier with a photo with Buzz and Dale and a quick "Thanks for the tunes, guys" this December. Meeting TOOL would do absolutely nothing for me.

O love will you read the letters I will send to you.

Re: Questions for Adam
To be honest I'd ask largely the same questions of Buzz and Dale that I would Maynard and Adam.

just curious. I don't know if I would. I would like to know *indepth* the story of..the composing of....what was it like creating 'Rosetta Stoned'?
go taff!
Re: Questions for Adam
They've answered this before. It was based on a story a member of Green Jello (I think, anyone know?) told May Jay. "Based on" or "inspired by", but not an exact replica of it. I don't remember what interview it was from.budsyralli wrote:I would like to know *indepth* the story of..the composing of....what was it like creating 'Rosetta Stoned'?

Re: Questions for Adam
I agree. I am really not interested in meeting any members of any band that I like. To me, the meeting is generic, fake, set up. It's exhilarating to experience the live music and to appreciate the talent and the art that these musicians have created, but I have absolute no interest in their personal lives or even a quick hello. The music alone does it for me. Just my opinion.N.Y.H.C. wrote:just curious. I don't know if I would. Re: Questions for Adam
If you're going to meet your heroes, "organically" is usually best but at the same time, I can't fault anyone for doing the VIP thing. If I had the money coming out my ears I'd consider it just to watch the soundcheck and all of that.
