Do you guys actually watch that late show shit? I used to watch Conan back in day on occasion. The only dude worth a shit imo is Craig Ferguson.Ravenpig wrote:I'm not worried about him, I'm sure he will do more than fine.

I think Kimmel is damn funny... his jokes arent all the exact same.... like Leno, every single one of Leno's jokes starts out the same ..."hey so did you guys see in the news recently? I watched the first two episodes of Fargo last night. It's well worth your time.

^oh cool is the second episode out? I watched the movie the other night and then the first episode. Couldn't believe old Martin from the office was in it, total shock, and his accent wasn't too bad!
Was one of the better pilots I've seen.

Cool! Looking forward to checking that out tonight. Not sure when you last watched the movie (for me it had been a few years before the other night), but they've got a few throw backs which were nicely placed and it had the same 'feel' which is always hard to convey in a series done so many years later!liz wrote:Hey Hooligan, yes two is most definitely out and yes Freeman is inspired casting.264zn wrote:^oh cool is the second episode out? Re: Movie/TV News
someone Marvel geek out with me, I'm just putting this together....I haven't read too much website commentary on it.
so I see Quicksilver (in the 1960's) featured in the new X-Men trailer, I just saw him in the post-credits in Captain America with the Scarlet Witch. Quicksilver is Magneto's son. plus Jennifer Lawrence is featured in the post-credits of the Amazing Spider Man 2 movie. are these distributors going to actually play nice and get together for the 3rd Avengers movie? the Infinity Wars maybe? or will Thanos be something separate from the Avengers franchise? can they really get Hugh Jackman, Andrew Garfield and Robert Downey Jr. in one movie playing Wolvie, Spidey and Tony?

Sadly, the Xmen "tease" at the end of Spider-Man is nothing more than a cross-promotional deal they made as some kind of trade off. It means nothing in terms of a shared universe, and Avi Arad (the guy who holds the reigns on Spidey at Sony) has explicitly stated there's no crossing over as long as he runs the show.
Re: Movie/TV News
Um, spoiler alert? That second Spider-Man movie isn't even out yet. I would have loved to have been surprised by that in the theater instead of, well, ANYWHERE ELSE.
I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed.

Re: Movie/TV News
Shit, sorry! I didn't even consider it a spoiler since it's just a clip from Xmen (not any kind of exclusive thing made just for this) and it has zero to do with the Spiderman film.
Re: Movie/TV News
Boring aside: my best friend is going to the SpiderMan premiere tonight in NYC. I'm slightly jealous because hey, I'd like to party with Emma Stone too. Goddamnit.
Re: Movie/TV News
OH ok. NYHC's post made it seem as if Mystique cameos in the extra scene, but it's pretty much another trailer. Is that it?joeypants wrote:Shit, sorry! Re: Movie/TV News
Yeah, it's literally just a random clip from the new Xmen movie.

Re: Movie/TV News
Marc Webb, the director, had a contract with Fox and Sony agreed to advertise the new X-Men movie in Spider-Man 2 for free to get him released from that contract. So Sony just popped an X-Men trailer into their post-credits slot.

There you go. I knew the story but couldn't recall and was too lazy to look it up.
