An off day at the World Cup. Fuck this bullshit, who said they deserve a day off? At least let all the losers of the groups go at it and see who is the best of the losers. Do you think Spain would top that list? Italians? England? Portugal? Russia? I think Ivory Coast would def make some noise in that consolation bracket. Fuck when you think of it like that, it would be very exciting. FIFA needs to incorporate a consolation bracket.

FIFA World Cup, 2014 Thread . . .

^ An embarrassment of an American. People like her give foreigners their twisted view of America. And all the idiots who loved her article. Fucking disgusting. I am glad there are millions of Americans who have embraced the world game. It has been apart of mine all my life and I pass that love of the game to my kids. What a cunt

I had no intentions of deraling the thread.

I figured its something we could all hate together on a day with no games.

Has anyone filled out a bracket for the rest of the tourney?

If you have an origin account EA is sponsoring one where you can win a PS4 or Xbox ONE and other prizes. I have Brazil going all the way playing Holland, and USA getting 3rd place. I realize this is not likely but its all in good fun.

This is going to be one Hell of a game. Both sides have displayed weaknesses throughout this tournament yet both are through to the next round. Both teams are hungry as fuck. Most people here have doubted the USA from game one, and I always knew we could do some damage. USA Will win this 3-2 in a highly entertaining match. It's win or go home so leave it all out on the pitch. I'm pumped.

Some great games on tonight. Can Chile upset Brasil? Uruguay has to pull off some upset to beat Colombia. Colombia is very underrated and very dangerous. They Definitely can win the whole damn thing.

If Belgium has one thing it's defense.

That's twice now hulk. Pull the trigger instead of trying to get the call. Your the strongest dude on the pitch, ref ain't gonna buy that shit.

Chile is playing with no fear. Very skilful squad, great passing and ball movement. It's only a matter of time either team breaks through

They're good on paper but they've been pretty bad so far in the tournament. Dark horse to win the cup? Chile. Well, that is of course if they can beat Brazil now.

Those 2 James goals were spectacular, as we're the sets. Bright future for that kid. Brazil better get their shite together for that matchup.
