Love "I," but I couldn't call that their best song at all. The stuff off of Koloss is such a monumental step up in my eyes for them. Especially Demiurge, which has arguably one of the most mind-blowing climaxes I have heard, pound for pound, in any song ever. And I do not say that lightly.

That said I'm beyond excited for this re-release, along with the Blu Ray coming.

Koloss, and in particular Demiurge was great, but the band peaked with Nothing/I/Catch Thirtythree in my opinion.

gotta see these guys live before I drop dead. speaking of, anyone got tickets for Mastodon & Gojira? I should be at the Halloween show. probably going to a sick party right in the same town after the last riff is played.

Yes Chyn you do and probably their dropping dead is more the issue. I was very late to the party but these guys are awesome live.

They absolutely do not disappoint. Hell, I was at one of the shows with "Cardboard Jens" and I didn't feel cheated whatsoever.

Also hopefully seeing Mastodon/Gojira in November, and Primus the night after both at the same awesome venue (Tabernacle in Atlanta).

I saw Meshuggah 4 times between the release dates of Obzen and Koloss, including Irving Plaza with Ministry on gellies, and I'd of gone another 4 times given the opportunity.

They definitely do not disappoint. They put on a kick ass live show full of energy. Last saw them a few years ago at a festival in 100 + degree heat. Only lasted 2 songs in the proper "mosh pit". Almost died of heat exhaustion. Good times

Despite the insane rhythm and time signature they don't change angle every single syllable. APC should learn until next time they release a live DVD. Stone and Echo still gives me a headache. Heck, even The Noose out of all songs is over edited.

Over-editing is the curse of 99.9999% of concert films these days. This is why I thank the heavens for Trent Reznor's decision to just let me edit my own goddamn concert film haha.

Good to hear this one doesn't suffer from it. Need to order this fucker.

I don't remember if it was a music video or a live clip or something, but I remember Meshuggah putting out some really over-edited live footage not too long ago.
