In regards to Opiate, at 1:43:50 in the podcast Danny said something like:

No but were are going to release the opiate video that we working on for the reissue of that and it's amazing, the stuff I've seen so far is out of control.

They didn't sound like they were being obviously sarcastic to me, but I found the news to be a little unusual. There's something going on, despite what Danny says I'm not entirely convinced we're going to get a Opiate video.

That said, on one level it would make sense as to why the Opiate reissue was otherwise a pretty weak one. It certainly would have been a more interesting release if there were a video attached (though still not sure worth the $200).

I find myself sometimes reading youtube comments on completely apolitical videos and they have provided some of the most funny commentary I've ever read.

I love when an innocent video turns into some vicious political argument and no, I've never partaken.

an opiate music video? cool..... Tool videos are so obscure and off the wall that ANY video could be played during any song and it would make the same amount of sense. Why is this new opiate video even for opiate, they could easily make it for a different new song ....

I would have exchanged the "come to brazil!" comments for "Come back to Mexico" !!

I just hope this album gets done ASAP!!!!!!.... come on... even system of a down have come back 3 times in this last 8 years.... jk (i think they are actually playing in Brazil this year... lol).

WTF? Rynne mentioned this was show 108, right? She needs to fire whoever is responsible for micing the guests. Not to mention mixing the music so high during the interviews/discussion that you have to strain to hear anyone but the host, and when the host speaks, it blows your ears out because you had to crank the volume...

Completely useless recording.

Nope. It's very understated... sounds like it might be from a soundtrack, or maybe an interlude.
