You paid $500 for just Adam. This sounds like it'll be two members. Maybe you shouldn't throw stones?

I included myself in the idiot category Rufus. At the time I pulled the trigger, and even more so afterwards.Ravenpig wrote:You paid $500 for just Adam. This sounds like it'll be two members. Maybe you shouldn't throw stones?
If they sell out there will be 502 "members" there.

Random Tool Social Media thread
My thoughts exactly. Or an initial investment to start dealing coke and make 100x more. That would pave the way to pimpdom, and you would have the pick of the best hoes you would be pimpin.lo7us wrote:Or hookers and blow.

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
$500?!?! To meet SOME of the members of Tool?!?!? And listen to them bullshit about how "PSYCHED" they are about the new material and how they "CAN'T WAIT" til all the fans get a chance to hear it and how they are "WORKING DILIGENTLY" every day and "HOPE TO RECORD SOMETIME SOON" and how they're "JAMMIN" on new ideas and having a lot of fun with it and.....!?!?!?
I'll keep my $500 and invest it in soy. Much safer option.

It could also get you enough therapy to quell all your anxiety and resentment towards tool not having released a new album.
Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
I was wanting to go but was hoping it wasn't going to have the $500 price tag (expected it though). Last time brought my lady with me and shelled out for the 2 VIP's (at least front row tickets were included)!! Intrigued to what is planned at this one, but think I'm going to have to skip it this time. Have Knotfest I'm camping for and the 2 nights of Monstermash, between the tickets and planned merch to buy pretty tapped out to try and spring for the VIPKittaan wrote:I included myself in the idiot category Rufus. Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
I didn't need the VIP thing to help me with anxiety but the VIP back in 2014 really helped me becoming more patient about the album not coming out. Adam was really cool and I really was stoked to hear what he had to say. I came out of the Q & A not pissed at how long it has taken for the new album to come out. Now that it's not even close to studio time and it's going to be 2016 soon I am not so patient. Haha.blacksabbath wrote:It could also get you enough therapy to quell all your anxiety and resentment towards tool not having released a new album.

Haha, yeah reverted back to metal to take out the rage that a new Tool album hasn't come outhellboy wrote:Alright, now I know who voted for Slipknot in the best album of 2014 poll.azbay wrote:Have Knotfest I'm camping for
At the VIP I went to was tailored to about the same as to the one that was recorded. So more or less any deviations from what Adam was talking about was from questions from the audience. I asked him how the other members felt about the VIP and if they would possibly atttend future VIP meets. He answered by not answering but told a story haha. He went on about a time going to a meet and greet (or someone he knew? don't remember) and the band coming in, clearly annoyed doing the photo ops and signings then leaving all in a matter of minutes. He wanted to do this for the fans to really get something out of it, make it more intimate ect.... and goes on a bit how he wanted this experience different, but never mentioned anything about the other guys. I also asked our tour guide (who worked with Deftones before Tool) if Maynard would ever do Passenger with Deftones and he assured me that it is less likely to ever happen. So who knows? problem 8 was asked about and Adam said he didn't know what he (the audience) was talking about, then went on a short story about Blair. That was kinda the gist of itblacksabbath wrote:What did he talk about?

If Problem 8 and Rance Q Spartley were all just nothing (like the curveball) that sucks
Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
I wonder if MJK will actually have anything useful to say about Tool.

The metal community has a tendency to claim anything they like as metal even if it really isn't.

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
I read that because puscifer was so revolutionary in its conception that 10 years had to pass before there would be the technology to see it through.
Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
The new Tool album is too radical for release for at least a few years yet.
