This season has been pretty dull-just a big buildup to a showdown between the prison and Woodbury.Â
The actors are actually coming to Cincinnati to a convention center (Daryl, Merle, and some others). $45 for a pic
It's stuff like that that makes me glad I can drive 30 minutes and stumble upon any or all of the cast members at a given moment. $45 is a rip-off...

Finally got around to watching Sunday's episode and my question is, Why the fuck did Andrea not just take The Governor's truck when he was fighting off that mini-horde of walkers? Just seems like common sense. Gets her to the prison a lot faster, gets her there more safely, and in the event that The Governor escapes the mini-horde (which, gasp, he did) now he's the one stuck without a vehicle.
I like to poop naked.

And if he had the keys? I was thinking she should make sure to watch him die, not just run off and assume.

Fair enough. I didn't think about him pocketing the keys in that instance. Was thinking he may have just left 'em in the ignition in case he needed to make his own quick escape but it could be wise, from his stand-point, to take the keys with him in case Andrea doubled back just to steal his truck once he went in the warehouse.
And once they didn't actually show him getting torn apart by walkers I had an idea he was still around. You'd figure with a character like The Governor, when/if he goes out, they'll definitely show it happening.

all I know is when the Governor go's he's taking someone substantial with him. you are not going to shoot him from 100 yards away with a sniper riffle. shit's going to get personal. Michonne should go head first at that one eyed bastard and sacrifice herself in the process.
Asteroids do not concern me, Admiral. I want that ship, not excuses.

I agree. Some shit is going down pretty soon. Wonder if it will be Rick? Or maybe peg leg Herschel.
Someone has to die. Then what? They live happily ever after? They need to set something big to lead into the next season.

So... Good episode. Sufficient degree of carnage, including some creative zombie deaths. The slicing off of one's face, a head stomp, wire decapitation & not to mention Dazza, knifing his dear bro between the eyes, Predator-boar-style, all made for great family viewing.
The question is though, who will be the one to kill the Gov?
Rick 1.5 to 1
Andrea 2 to 1
Milton 4 to 1
Daryl 7 to 1
Glen 12 to 1
I reckon there's a good chance they might surprise us with Milton.

I didn't completely understand Merle's logic, but he did talk about how even he doesn't understand the things he does.
I tend to agree... Merle's plan wasn't well constructed. He knew Daryl didn't agree with the Michonne plan & had he gone through with it, he'd have not have been accepted / redeemed by the group anyway & only further alienated.
It made more sense after freeing Michonne, his intention being to find redemption by taking on the Woodburians singlehandedly... However, it's unclear whether he ever expected to live through it.

He was hammered on whiskey. Â I'm pretty sure he knew he would not survive. Â Man, that was a gut wrenching scene! Â btw...Big Tiny showed up again at the bar. Â I wonder if anyone will show up for the finale.
Why did he keep saying he only wanted to be with his brother then? Seems more logical to just go back to the prison and get Daryl.

@Marry "Predator-bore-style" hell yeah!!!! I'm gonna have me some fun, I'm gonna have me some fun tonight!!!!! you're the man for that reference haha. "You think you could've found something bigger?" (Poncho)
@BKGG I almost got choked up when Michonne was about to close the car door and looked back in at Merle, what a little girl I am sometimes. I just thought to myself "now they will mourn you.." The Governor could've shot him in the head but instead he forced him to turn, what a scumbag.
@Markuspoop Did you get the feeling when they showed the preview of the Woodbury's all out assault on the Prison with the grenade launchers etc. that the prison was abandoned and they moved on? I could be way off but I get the sneaking suspicion that they voted to leave and Rick agrees.

He knew in order to save his brother and the rest of the group, that he would have to take out the guys from Woodbury and the governor. Â He had to show the group that he was a good guy. Â He also knew he was on a suicide mission.

I definitely got the feeling that they had left the prison, but I think they were headed to Woodbury or the meeting place.
