Because I enjoy a good quality release with well thought out artwork. I imagine most Tool fans give plenty of fucks about their cover art. It is a defining property of the band after all.

- You like noisy music?
- Yes. The louder the better. Stops me from thinking.

- Never thought about it.

Guitar work was pretty uninspiring for the first part but hopefully I'll change my mind after a few listens.. Other than that, sounds great. Setlists are looking good so far too.

New FNM track Superhero online, plus a nice interview:

I gotta say, as much as I like the song, I kind feel a little let down by the mix on this (and Motherfucker as well). The vocals sound like a mess. I have concerns that choosing Billy to record this album won't turn out to be a great idea.

It didn't work. As I said, it's the mix that's the problem - not the song. I still enjoy it, but can't help but feel that it could be much much better.

So the guy who mastered Cog's Sharing Space worked on this album - Maor Appelbaum. The songs do sound flat.

Got back home from Sydney Soundwave yesterday. Agreed on all reviews about FNM, they truly were a cut above the rest at the festival & Superhero sounded great live, but like ya say Hellboy, this mix is terrible. Have heard local bands do a better job.
