Yeah, I feel that it is far more likely that Maynard is taking the piss than Adam. Again, perhaps that is just me wanting to believe that things are moving. If Adam were playing silly buggers then it is a bit of a dick move (but again I don't think this is the case...)

BUT before everyone starts circling into a "fuck May Jay" fest, let's not forget that he's actually been the most honest one during this whole process.

I was about to say the same thing. Maynard doesn't say much, but when he does he's been the one to give us the most straight forward, honest info. He agrees it's taking an awfully long time and that they're very, very particular in their process. He has told us time and time again he was yet to hear music and had been hassling them for some for him to work on.

Adam and Danny generally update us in vague-ish sort of ways.

I agree, though I do think Maynard could have framed it better.

Adam really couldn't be that stupid. I don't know, I call bullshit. Maynard hash tagging gullible just appears like he isn't saying everything. Maybe the other 3 are in the studio right now. That would be his way of saying the entire band are not in the studio.

im getting so sick of the speculation and rumors. Maynard is always honest with the bands progress, even throwing adam under the bus at times. Danny is genuinely excited for the album and i think he tells us "were in the studio" or "we wanna start tracking soon", he probably is being honest, just a little too optimistic. Adam is like blair. "Working on tunes....." and then proceeds to post it on his facebook? what a dick move.

Give us real, soild news Tool.. Its fuckin stupid. I wish someone would interview/ask/tweet to Justin... He never is in the middle of the "news"... I wonder if he would give a fan an honest answer regarding progress

You're welcome, it's all I can find at the moment. The video seems to be Motörhead's "confirmation" as well.

this whole thing is even headlining german music press. so I guess we will hear something more from adam or blair soon...if not....well then maybe they ARE in the studio and mjk was just making fun.
