CSM died like 3 times throughout the series run, how is he still alive?

I think pretty much everyone died several times during the series

His last scene in the series had getting blown up by a rocket in a cave. Kinda hard to survive something like that in my opinion.

Well, I wasn't really blown away by any of the trailers, and the first episode lived up to that. The first episode was mostly just fan service, but more in a tiresome, predictable, and sometimes cringeworthy way rather than the good way. And just when the episode get's going it ends.
It felt like a really short episode. It rushed from conclusion to conclusion without making a great deal of sense to me at several points. It seemed liked things just happened because they are "supposed" to happen. It's like they squeezed a story into a single episode when really a double length one was needed.
The good news is that it can only get better from here. I want to believe...

I've heard the first episode is the worst, but it gets a lot better as it goes.

Just got caught up. I really did not like the first episode, but the second episode was a lot better even if the plotting was a little off.

Second episode was pretty good - will be happy if the rest is up to that standard.

From what I have heard, the next 3 are kind of stand-alone and the last episode ties back to the first 2. Fingers crossed we get some good monsters!

Haha well episode 3 was pretty messed up! Seriously what was Rhys Darby doing there playing some extremely shit looking monster. As a kiwi I initially thought it was kinda cool seeing him on box again...but this episode didn't really do it for me. It was fun, and Fox has some great lines - plus you see a bit of Dana getting steamy...I guess it you could say it was more of a classic episode with a scooby doo vibe.

I loved the fact that he was not a man bitten by a lizard but a lizard man bitten by a human. And the story about bedding Scully was hilarious!

Episode 3 was great and was all the justification the series needed for coming back.

Grumpy bastard that I am I have refused to watch it since it is only a six episode run and it feels like a cash grab. Worth checking out ya think?

Everthing in the entertainment industry is a cash grab. It's time for people to collectively get over that.
My experience with the show so far, is that there are parts that are quite good, and part that are pretty meh. I also wish it were longer than 6 episodes, or if there are only 6 then they are more cohesive and narrative driven.
