That's a really interesting change in release dates - you don't often see movies being brought forward several months I'd expect!

Wish they'd gone with a newer, "different" design for the aliens, though.

^Interesting news. I'm definitely a fan of Denis Villeneuve. Not all that familiar with Dune though, other than the David Lynch movie.

Herbert was a brilliant author. Despite being a fan of Lynch, the movie adaptation was too campy and the acting was over the top. SFX were way too limited at the time as well.
Very interested to see another attempt, but I will not get my hopes up.

I'm looking forward to it. The first Dune book is great, but could never really get into the sequels.
