Just had a listen to the new At The Drive-in album. It was ok, though not outstanding. I don't think it stands up against Relationship of Command, but then again I doubt many expected it would.

Steven Wilson has a new album coming out on August 18th called To The Bone.

New Song below is called Pariah. I personally fucking hate it. Apparently Wilson said this album is going to be "progressive pop" which is exactly what this shit sounds like. The music related let downs in 2017 just keep on coming.

Anyhoo I imagine Kittan and Ettan will probably enjoy since those two are into some of this poppy shit. Enjoy i guess...

If you haven't liked the direction Muse have taken lately, then this track will do nothing to change that.

Pretty enjoyable death metal style album featuring the bass player from Dillinger Escape Plan.

Apologies if this has been posted before...found this cool little site that rips youtube videos into mp3. Great way of getting some live versions onto your portable device. It automatically plays, when downloaded, in iTunes and then just acts as if its an album in your library.

Some long gigs don't seem to want to download but the majority of searches work.

John Scofield, John Medeski, Jack DeJohnette, and Larry Grenadier have a new supergroup called Hudson, which is pretty rad.

Lol, I was listening to this on Bandcamp and they uploaded the wrong track. The track they uploaded to Bandcamp is fucking rad though. I'm not even sure it's the same group.

Hahahahahaha, it's not the same group. It's a track from Danny McCaslin, the saxophonist from Bowie's Blackstar album.

Presenting the third full-length from Sydney psychedelic doom band Adrift For Days.

‘A Sleepless Grey’ combines elements of psychedelic rock, doom, drone and post-metal - drawing from masters like Pink Floyd, Earth, Boris and Neurosis.

At times the music is gentle and reflective, drifting along psychedelic tides, and exploring subtlety and space with light, textural playing. At others the album explodes into bursts of molten fuzz, or takes a dark detour into earth-shuddering drone.

It's been nearly 50 years since the first Brown Acid Caveat was issued to a million hippies in a field at the first Woodstock Festival. In these dark , more-knowing times The Tear garden felt it was the perfect moment to mark their 30th Anniversary with a similar warning , especially as their first album back in 1987 bore the declaration , "We Will Pour Our Jars in Reservoirs" on the cover. In fact , we were joking. Despite the madness you may perceive all around you right now, those jars were stashed on the highest shelf of a kitchen cupboard and the key was tossed into the ocean. Our sole wish is to introduce beauty to the medieval landscape we appear to be trapped in right now. There will be no brown paint splashed around. Beauty survives , even underneath the ugliest, heaviest rock. This is The tear Garden's 8th record and is testimony to an enduring friendship that spans the aforementioned ocean.

After 8 years, The Tear Garden (the psychedelic/experimental/electronic project of Edward Ka-Spel of The Legendary Pink Dots & cEvin Key of Skinny Puppy) return with "The Brown Acid Caveat", the culmination of the duo's 31 years of working together. Psychedelic electronic melancholia , fearless experimentation & improvisation combine to take the intrepid listener on a mesmerizing voyage of the mind. Feel the Love. Don’t touch the brown acid.
