RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE Drummer Thinks The Band Has Played Their Last Show
Brad Wilk:
“As far as I know, we played our last show in 2011 at the Coliseum, and if that was our last show, that’s a good way to go out,” Wilk said. ”I had sort of put in my head that that band is over in order for me to just move on with my life, to be honest with you, so that’s kind of where it lies. The Coliseum – awesome way to go out.”
Hey guys lets rage against the machine and sign with Sony.

I don't dislike Rage or anything, their first album is the tits, but I could never really take them seriously.
Yes please tell me about government oppression when you're a fucking rock star in a mega famous band.
Now, I understand how what I just wrote could easily be turned on me, I mean he/they have every right to voice his/their thoughts, right? Or to be the "voice" for others? And etc etc
Sure yea blah blah. I still don't need a millionaire to tell me how "the man" holds "us" down.

@ Ziggy - classic.
@ Piggy - I've had the same lulz, but I still love the tunes (RageRiffs for days). Clearly they open themselves up to that criticism by the nature of their lyrics and outspoken political views, but I give them credit for voicing them.
@ Tiggy - Who should they have signed with, you?

The argument with RATM, for me anyway, has been about authenticity. What gives them the moral highground?
Nothing.
Their subject matter and the way with which they deliver it is no more compelling or righteous than a bunch of angry Vietnamese kids playing thrash metal whilst spitting rants about social inequality in Western Sydney.
