Open-Minded Man Would Be Willing To Look Past Jennifer Lawrence’s Flaws

JOLIET, IL—Saying that he would be open to giving a relationship with the Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence a shot, local man Alex Robard, 31, told reporters Monday that despite any preconceptions he might have formed about the Hollywood star, he certainly considers himself broad-minded enough to try looking beyond her flaws. “Look, she’s not perfect, but neither am I, so all things considered, I’d be inclined to test it out and give the two of us a chance,” said the sales associate, who went on to add that, while he couldn’t make any guarantees, if he were to ever go on a date with the 23-year-old A-lister, he would make a concerted effort to resist forming snap judgments based on any potential faults, personal weaknesses, or off-putting personality traits that the celebrity might possess. “You have to be willing to accept people as they are. Yes, Jennifer’s a little loud, a little wacky and in-your-face, but I think, personally, I could get past that. Dating’s all about keeping an open mind.” Robard added that he hoped Lawrence wasn’t particularly religious, because that would, unfortunately, be a deal-breaker for him.

Hellboy, I'm much better looking than you.

I am 6 foot 4, athletic body, a full set of hair, blue eyes and European looks unlike you. Short, bald and stumpy and whatever else in between.

I am allowed to be picky.

Now, delete my profile please.

Gonna make it a "GHOSTBUSTERS I AND II" night instead.

I have a hard-on for Chevy Chase, Bill Murray and 80s movies lately. Not sure why.

"CADDYSHACK"? Just finished it from Wednesday night.

I've seen it a few times. If you know what you're getting, it's great.

Made me want to go to a driving range. $20 for a hundred balls here sounds too good to be true. I'm guessing club-hire is $20 per club.

Not joking, that's probably real. I'll let you know next week.

Fuck I miss screen-golf.

There's honestly a movie to be written from the lost humour on internet forums in the past ten years.

Which does nothing but prove my theory that we wield the English language un-mightily. Then again, some of the best humour and satire from the pre-Industrial era was COMPLETELY misunderstood.

History repeating?

You're fucking insane, that movie has Rodney Dangerfield, Chevy Chase and Bill Murray.

Think about that for a second, that's all it should take for you to watch one of the greatest comedies ever.

I finally found the gauge of good taste.

This simple film separates plebs from patricians.

Did you enjoy, nay love Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World?

Welcome to the club.

Oh and I watched it years ago, it just seems people who love this film generally have great taste.

Well, I like it, and so does pretty much everyone I've spoken to about the film.

Yeah, it's been a while (at least a decade, right)? But I still remember it. I dug it, but I don't really see it as a bellwether movie.

finally watched Caddyshack for the first time ever last weekend. fucking great movie. every line written is quotable, they don't make comedies like this anymore because they CAN'T. you could get away with so much more. Bill Murray's scene about the Dali Lama was incredible, that's one of the best scenes in cinema history. Caddy swim from 1pm to 1:15pm? that's pure genius. I'm not even sure who steals the movie, Chevy? Bill? Rodney? it's hard to tell.

plus hot chicks from back then really don't hold up very well nowadays but Lacey Underall?!!! holy shit is she hot lol.

I think Ted Knight does an outstanding job as well. Unfortunately he gets even less respect than Rodney!

They are remaking Ghostbusters with an all female cast and with the director of Bridesmaids.
