Tool will never again be the band you pine over.
There's one Salival, and it was released.

Release it all digitaly. If only to piss off us die-hards. Put some fuckers in their place.

*drunken rants

I'm looking forward to the new artwork. There's zero chance they will release the album without a physical copy. Without a booklet. Without a new logo. Without 5 coinciding shirts.

I think it will be very Adam Jones. And that's great, I like his stuff. In that respect, he's never let us down. I agree, the artwork/ visuals go a long way to completing the album. In so I'm looking forward to the physical release.

I would like the band to release additional are aenima vinyl. I would like to own one and actually play it, but the fakes are everywhere and the real ones are way over priced

RIP Busty McCracken.

As an owner of a signed Lateralus record, I vote no to an Aenima vinyl reissue. Respect supply and demand.

Is the mastering perfect on all their records?

It's never going to be.

If they didn't like it they wouldn't have released it and I don't think time has changed the sound of those records all that much.

They might do a remaster just for digital releases, but that would require them to release their shit digitally. That also doesn't concern me.

I haven't heard a decent remaster of any album released after 1990, they just make it sound louder.

This isn't Justice for all, show me another album that sounds like aenima or lateralus?

Pet sounds still sounds modern ffs and it's over 50 years old.

The Isis remasters would like a stern word with you. Granted, they didn't sound bad at all before but they sound much improved now, imo.

Also imo, Tool's albums sound impeccable and don't need to be messed with. But the thing with them is... I trust them implicitly as artists. If they feel a need to monkey with something have at it. I have the old ones.
