Not gonna happen my dude. You are right I would probably enjoy it and that would bug me even more. No sir I am sticking to my guns on this one. One digital copy purchase and that is it. I think the last time I saw Tool was 2010. The merch I bought from that show went in the trash with the rest of it.

I'm not convinced. You're buying the album, so there's a good chance there'll at least be a song or two that gets your attention. That alone will be enough to make you keen to go. Time will tell, but you'd be silly to miss the chance to see old man Carey humiliate himself on the drum kit one last time

Interacting with Tool fans online over the years, in my opinion more would think getting a tattoo of a Tool related thing was more retarded than not.
Were too cool for school with irony and sarcasm up the wazoo.
Or I'm just projecting.

Personally, I've always been against getting "band tattoos" in general as you never know when your taste will change (or when it turns out a member of whatever raped some poor person!!). Then again, that kind of goes for any tattoo I suppose. I continually thank Sweet Satan that I did not get any tattoos until my 30s when I had my ideas/tastes a little more firmly planted. The shit I would've gotten tattooed on me at 18!!
That said, I have often flirted with the flaming Alex Grey eyes, although the Tool part would be a side effect/sly bonus. The art is just so beautiful to me.

Tattoos have this funny contradiction in that I feel like the best tattoos are also the ones that are the most disposable. Like a banana is a dumb tattoo but that makes it a good tattoo because it will always be a dumb tattoo.
