A single San Diego show announced so far, but I’m very much hoping they tour this wider as it deserves.

My favorite Crimson period, and… Danny of course. Next best thing to Bruford.

Danny Carey Says Tool’s “Ænima” Was Recently Remastered For Vinyl
https://www.theprp.com/2024/03/26/news/ ... for-vinyl/

“Man we just remastered ‘Ænima‘… the album, I should say. ‘Stinkfist‘ and ‘Eulogy‘ both sound incredible on that. The low end, the way things are sit together and all that — those are two of my favorites, that stuck out. That’s for sure. I think it might be just because I recently heard it on the 180g vinyl like you were talking about. I was like ‘oh my God.’ I forgot how good it sounded. I hadn’t heard it in an analog form in ages.”

Surely if Danny has a test pressing, this can't be too far off....

It’s been 60 years of clowning around with Maynard James Keenan.

The TOOL, A Perfect Circle and Puscifer singer looks back at a lifetime of mayhem with longtime friend and fellow alt-metal oddball Les Claypool.

The Beat tour with Danny I mentioned above has been expanded, and going on sale soon. I’ll definitely be hitting San Jose, the first stop on the tour in September.

Sessanta at The Hollywood Bowl last night was just great. I believe that's the first time Tool has ever played the Bowl. Even if it was only one song, still one for the history books.

And...Happy (belated) Birthday Junior!!!

Would be interested to know if Chanceller and Jones have ever swapped sides of the stage before. Might have been two for the record books

Yes, it was a great show. Everyone was clearly into the performance and enjoying being up there together. Lots of interchanges and people sitting in on various songs. Flowed really well. Herb sat in on APC, Billy with Primus, 3 drummers at one point. Awesome.

Maynard the Cat was impressive as hell.

In 1998 Adam was on that side for the tour. From the audience perspective it was Danny, Maynard, Justin, and then Adam. They were all in a straight line across the front. But Justin has always been to that side of centre (stage left) to my recollection.

Glad to hear you got a great show.

I almost didn't go to the Hollywood Bowl show. Definitely would have regretted missing that one.
