Blair just posted that new tour dates will be released next week. Nothing further about VR headsets mentioned.

Please....let this be the mini-tour that is usually the precursor to an album release....

Well, it'll be before a new album gets released, that's for sure. Does that count as a precursor?

Will be nice to see some dates. I'd hate for anyone to assume it's another other than a similar tour they've done the last 6 years.

Im guessing it will be another short mini tour... less than 10 shows total. Touring one section of the USA.... likely the Northeast/east coast given where they are playing festivals.

As far as songs, i bet they play the standard line up as usual:

Nope, no complaints here about getting that setlist. As for the stops, I agree it will most likely be a northeast US short tour, maybe a couple Canada dates.

oh no not at all RP.. i would kill to see Parabol/a live. AND The Grudge?! Amzing setlist. But you know what i mean when i say standard setlist. They have mixed it up some here and there recently, but you can easily name half of the songs they will play. maybe more.

2009 Lollapalooza. Hoping for a Chicago/Milwaukee/or Madison date that doesn't interfere with the work schedule. Can't justify traveling out for them anymore until they tour for a new (HA!) album.

Chicago would be cool. Or Columbus or Cincy. They need to dust off Rosetta Stoned. What a beast of a song.

IM ready for lateralus to come back.

I wouldn't plan any travel based on that. That appears to be part of one option from about a month ago when it was getting put together.
It just recently got finalized, and that's not accurate, though some of it is.

That's a bummer junior, but thanks for the insight. I really hope Detroit is among the accurate bits as it's been nearly 10 years now. Toledo 2012 was pretty close though, and a great show. Fingers crossed.

Regardless, Tool touring is always good.
