There always has to be a character everyone hates. Even if it's not intended, people are going to not like certain characters. Andrea from Walking Dead. That one dude from that one show, etc.
She's a cunt. I'm a cunt. Moving on.

Wonder if Walt's gonna kill Jesse. Someone has to die, right?

I didn't hate her, it's called empathy.

The writers didn't make you hate her, they painted a picture and your interpretation of events made you hate her.

You're the problem.

Yep.

Any bets on who's going to die next?
I'd say Walt Jr.

I honestly go long periods of time where I forget Walt Jr is even a character on the show.

I finished the last episode of the first half of Season 5 over the weekend. Wow, what a killer series.

I'm still avoiding this thread because I don't have AMC (or any TV) and I'm going to wait until the second half of Season 5 is all over so I can binge it out.

Well, that's the plan right now anyway...

Who lead Lydia out of the bloodbath?

Perfect gentleman.

Man your memory is bad.

Holding hands with a woman as you lead her out of a bloodbath hardly defines you as being a heterosexual.

You're right, he is a true gentleman. I'd argue that most blokes, myself included are at our core, cunts of people & only a gay man could be seen as a true gentleman. :P

I wish Walt Jr would stop crying all the time, the kid really needs to grow a spine.

haha agreed.

Someone wrote in the comments box of the torrent I downloaded that Walt Jr died in the episode...was extremely excited to read that spolier, but no, all we get is Jesse reminding us that he likes his coffee black.

I wonder if the writers had their time over, whether they would have had Walt Jr be fully abled. Seems to me like they're backed into a corner with his limitations, so his character is more a nuisance than anything in this final series.

Nah, adds to the context as to why Walt is so eager to earn

Yeah that's sorta what I mean though. Like ya say, in helping create empathy toward Walt at the start of the series, Jr was the perfect character. But as the shows progressed to this point, he's become almost unnecessary to the plot lines, other than being the innocent in the middle. I'm sure the writers would have a lot more fun, if he was fully abled & they could have him turning against his old man or even teaming up with Walt against Hank & Jesse.. Just a thought anyways.

Just saw Sunday's episode, pretty damn good. Hank actually seemed more evil than Walt, for a bit at least.

Seems like Walt overlooked a simple solution to his problem with Jesse, "I still have the ricin". But of course, how Jesse figured it out is kinda dumb to begin with so whatever.

The further we get into the season, the more I think shit gets really bad for everyone.

I don't agree. Jesse obviously thought about the situation a lot, it probably wasn't ever very far from his mind. I don't think it's that hard to believe that he'd put it together pretty quickly.

It's dumb because he'd already had the exact same drama about the same situation with Walt. But because Huell picks his weed he's convinced all over again?

Oh come ON!
