It's been a slow month for Tool fans, so here I am posting somewhat insignificant news about Tool related projects just to keep you guys coming and clicking ads. This weeks update is from John Z from Volto! who posted on Facebook details of limited vinyl release for their album Incitare:

VOLTO!'s debut album "Incitare"....the 180gram audiophile vinyl double LP limited edition cover (1st run, only 1000 in embossed/veneered PURPLE, signed and numbered by the band, with a few extra goodies included too) and it's only available directly through the band's website. be on the lookout for the pre-order link and more info soon! worldwide release date July 23rd, 2013 through Fantasy Records/Concord Music Group. thanx!

Looking forward to seeing how it pans out, and I'll most likely try and grab a copy. For those who prefer a more digital format here's a link to the Amazon pre-sale. Here's a picture of the album cover in purple:

Very nice!  Love the purple!  I'll definitely be adding this to the vinyl collection!

No way it's over $100...a practically no name band and you're thinking this will be close to $150?!

So I guess this confirms that the release date is still July 23rd.

It won't be $100, that's absurd.  If it's over $50 (plus postage) I'll just grab a non limited edition.

No, the release date today is for the digital release.  Physical release is early August from memory.

So you get the limited vinyl, a CD, and a digital download.

Also a t-shirt and a holographic print; all for $125+shipping.  Not too bad IMO.

Since it has DC playing and Adam designed it that cost doesn't surprise me.

Don't think it's bad value personally - I expected it would just be the signed vinyl.  The print and t-shirt thrown in make the price reasonable.

That said, not sure I'll be purchasing one, and if I do it'll have to wait until next payday (unless someone makes a $100 donation to Fourtheye in the next week or so.

What was that you were saying?

To be fair, the package does contain more goodies than I anticipated - I presumed it'd be just the vinyl and a postcard or some shit, not a holographic print and a T-shirt.   Strange that they include a CD copy in the package as well - I'd have thought the vinyl and digital download would be enough.

Agreed with hellboy. I anticipated just a signed vinyl which would have not been over 100

To me it seems $20 - $25 overpriced, but its still a decent package (that's what she said).

I will wait for the cd to buy the whole album. $12 and you get the mp3 as well! Oh em gee!

But I remember the conversation Bogart and yellow box are referring to, and I totally agree that Bogart meant just purely a signed vinyl.

Oh well then.  More pointless complaining about something you aren't gonna buy.

Yes, let's continue pointlessly complaining.  The price is what it is, some predictions were right and wrong.  If it really makes you feel better '][' [[]] [[]] ][, then you won.
