Playing boardgames lately
Any suggestions for great board games?
How about card games?
We really like these boardgames:
Scythe. It has mechs but it is no tactical wargame. Expect cold war in this game about area control, worker placement and cool things. Excellent expansions as well.
Isle is Skye is really fun. Between two castles of mad king ludwig. Tapestry (shown with the cat) is a recent addition but first impressions are good.
As for card games we don't have many but Claim is fun. And we just got the crew which according boardgamegeek is top 50 material. Personally not entirely convinced.
Hollow Knight is one of the most frustrating but rewarding games I've ever played, nothing makes me want to smash my controller but keep trying like it

Yes I mad bro
Sorry RDR2 I'll get back to you one day
In which part are you?
Aka which region or boss.
And, yes, the difficult is really awesome in this game.
Well I gave up fighting the Mantis Lords, will get back to that one when powered up a bit better, just beat the boss in Crystal Peak and now backtracking to the Royal Waterways because I beat that Dung Beetle but didn't have the power dash needed to empty the water or something? idk
Bought Shadow of the Tomb Raider on a discount with all dlc. Fun game, again. Storywise it was crappy though but the puzzles improved.
After finishing the story and all optional tombs & chests I decided to start Tomb Raider (2013) again to get it at 100%. Next up getting Rise to 100%.
Elite Sniper 4 - Fun as fuck, first game I've played in the series, a mixer of Just Cause and Far Cry, really enjoyed my time with this game
Elder Scrolls Online - This is the first mmo I've ever played, enjoyed it for the first few days until I realised it's basically an online casino and all they want is you to keep playing with no end game in sight, fuck fuck off
Demon Souls 2 scholar of the first sin - So I decided to play one of these Soul games after years of everyone banging on about them and I've been dying constantly yet loving every minute, the only advice I've gotten is to upgrade your ABL or something like that and I haven't googled any cheats about this game, I am in the fucking dark. Ok I googled the difference between this and the original game and this one is even harder. I'm going to stick it out for now, got about 30 hours into it.
Been trying to make my way through the Mass Effect Legendary Edition when i get free time. Its a good game. Still holds up, Mass 1 kinda sucks mechanically though.
Been playing a lot of Dark Souls 2 SOFTS edition, my first Souls game and it really is frustrating as fuck, then you level up a bit and make those bosses your bitch. Loving it.
Been playing Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order for the past two weeks, amazing game and probably the best thing Star Wars related released in the past 10 years.

Fallen Order was great, and you're not far off the mark with that comment
I've been delving back into Cyberpunk now that it's been updated. It hasn't really fixed that many of the games biggests flaws (mainly the second rate open world mechanics) but at least it's a lot smoother now. The story is great, I like the setting and graphics, and gameplay is pretty fun. A long way from a perfect game, but trending towards an 8/10 for me.
Dead Cells, a great metroidvania with a randomly produced level layout and no checkpoints, when you're dead all the way back to the start, rage inducing fun!
It's on Game Pass but they wanted $50 for the game of the year edition, got the code off some Argentinian on ebay for $11 instead.
Been playing Immortals Fenyx Rising for the past month or so, very cool zelda like game that was very frustrating to begin with as it didn't tell you fundamental game mechanics at the start.
Finally playing Cyberpunk after years of waiting for the updates etc, it's not The Witcher but holy shit it looks beautiful and certainly is next gen. Driving is terrible, only played for 10 hours but enjoying it so far.
Starfield, what can I say about that piece of SHIT, I feel like an idiot for paying for early access, sure there is a game there hidden behind the loading screens, it reminds me of MYST for some reason, at it's heart it's a point and click game.
