:lol: I cannot see that happening, even with a song like The Pot

I could see someone bootlegging that Aley Grey cannabis painting into a Tool shirt though

The album is gonna be dope

fuck the packaging and the delay

But the album is gonna be dope

Descending is so good it's stupid. Danny is out of his fucking mind that Berlin vid you can hear those drums and that motherfucker is absurdly good. I mean at peak level good. As good as anything on Lateralus drum wise level good. The other three are talented musicians but Danny is a goddamn genius. Him performing that well on the drums at that level of intensity at 58 is akin to Tiger Woods winning the Masters this year at 43. Only genius can transcend age. That and a remarkable amount of dedication to your craft. All that basketball Danny has played has served him well I imagine if I am still alive at 58 i will probably be shitting into a bag and have likely had multiple heart attacks. In fact there is no way I even see 58. Danny fucking Carey dude is a monster.

Damn dude. Well, here's to how ever many more years you got and hopefully they're filled with even more more new Tool music.

Hang in there Mog, being ancient is not as bad as you might think. Moderation is the key, lad. ;

That's the rumour going around. No one really knows what for, common assumptions are for some kind of lighting or opening effect.

Maybe the album is actually a musical greeting card

It’s a package that opens up to the tune of “Don’t Stop Believin’” whilst revealing the true album release date; next year or “Soon”

It probably contains a wireless connection to Spotify, that uploads a small percentage of the album. Once every copy has been sold/opened the music will be available to all.

So just posted on Reddit. Unsure how valid this claim is, but it's interesting:
Just back from a visit to my local record shop. The man who owns the shop had some info on the new album. It is supposed to be a box containing a led display, and the production cost alone should be around 40 dollars. And he thought that would mean a retail price of well over a hundred dollars. He added he had gotten no info on there being a cheap version.

Commercial information should be just that, not just some dude who owns a shop.

It's hard to take a record store dude seriously, I agree, but the idea of some kind of LED actually sounds like something Tool might do to me.

It would also be nice if they made it available to us in some fornat(s) and provided a way to pay for it.
