Since the Finals are coming I figured this thread should be immediately started. As I said in the old sports thread, I'm waiting til Wednesday to make my prediction.

Fair enough. I'll make mine Wed too.
It could easily go either way, which is why I will enjoy these games despite preferring it to have been two other teams.

I'm waiting on Parker's final injury status.

Well here goes nothing:
SA, Mia, SA, Mia, SA, Mia, SA
Spurs in 7

That seems reasonable. I hope San Antonio gets it too. They were robbed last year. I'm not a LeBron hater, but I am not a Heat fan.

"Robbed" is unfair. Heat got some lucky bounces but that's the way it goes. Spurs' lucky bounces just came at different times.
Spurs take it this time though.

Yeah they weren't robbed. It was game 6. It went 7 games.

You weasels know what I meant.

I do agree it wasn't "Robbed". Clearly, if Miami didn't come up with the goods, it was SA's title.

Yea but even that would've been moot if Manu and Leonard hit their free throws.
I dislike Miami and want them to lose but they didn't rob shit.
Also, make with your picks man. I won't accept any "accidental" late picks this time.

Very true. The game is not all about the final seconds and The Spurs made critical mistakes down the stretch to leave the door open. I retract the "Robbed". But still, you know what I meant. Ya Weasel.
And I am going with your guess. If Parker is limited to 50% or lower, it will be Miami's trophy, but I don't think that will happen.
^ Nah, just responsibilities that comes first. Cable in Oz sucks anyways, same repeat bullshit. Plus the ESPN here mostly covers sports in which I have no interest in.

(I'm saying this with the assumption that Lebron was cramping. Don't get me wrong, leg cramps hurt like hell)
Jordan would've never ever ever left a Finals game like that. Can that comparison go away now?

Who knows what was going on. We can't say Jordan would or wouldn't do something. Cause he isn't in that situation. We can't say lebron is a pussy cause we aren't lebron. Who know what's accurate.

Jordan played a Finals game with something like a 102 degree fever/flu.
I'm not calling Lebron a pussy, I'm not calling him anything. I'm not even saying he should've stayed in the game. He looked like he was in pain.
Fair or not, he gets constantly compared to Jordan so he's going to get comments like mine.

Fair enough. If lebron played with a 102 fever today people would say he's an attention whore. Times have changed.

No way. I'd give him massive props and I'm not anywhere near a fan of his (I don't hate him either).

That was a very competitive game up until it wasn't. Glad the Spurs pulled it out, but I hope LeBron's OK.
@ Piggy - Having lived in Chicago during the second 3-peat, and watching the game you mentioned live with a huge group of people... that same thought occurred to me about Bron vs Jordan. It's natural in his situation.
Very odd with the A/C fuck up. A building like that, for an event like that... Some people will be losing their jobs, and rightly so. You need to have triple backup systems in place, and that was un-fucking-acceptable.

Oh and a correction on my earlier post, Jordan had food poisoning, which is even worse than the flu/fever.
