At first glance I thought it said The Buttsex at the bottom, but no it's The Butterneck. Â Not sure if that's the name of the venue or the poster...

Really? Â I thought it might have said Bottleneck but it totally looked like there was an R. Â Fuck that's hard to read. Â Probably should have just gone to the website, but that's less fun.

There's a full Melvins Lite concert you can view here apparently. Â Won't work for me though, but perhaps someone else will have more success.

Dear sweet leapin' Jesus I love THE MELVINS.
EDIT:
Interesting to see which way Buzz will take it: creepy and quiet, sludgey and fucking awesome, or punky and fun.

Spoiler: I'm pretty sure their Black Betty cover was already released somewhere. I'm sure you can listen to it now if you like.Â

Do I listen to it in the context of the album, or do I-
Yeah, I listened to it. Thanks a bunch dude.
Well, not disappointed. Surprised, a bit. I should've expected it to be a drum song. Would've loved for a slow burn of sludgey goodness.
Lovin' THE MELVINS as much as I do, I honestly think that it was a wasted opportunity. Still pretty fuckin' great.

Yeah Black Betty was on a 7" single w/ John Spencer Blues Explosion. Carpe Diem and Female Trouble are also available on YouTube.

This is the best thread ever.
Besides the YOB one that some incredibly sexually attractive person started.

Interesting tweets from AJ from Soundwave this evening:
Not sure what's that supposed to mean. Â Maybe an Ipecac or Patton curated stage at Soundwave, or another Geek Tour?
Melvins are the anti-Tool in a lot of ways. Â They release albums all the time and never fucking tour Australia, while Tool seem to tour at the drop of a hat and never release shit...

I don't recall starting a YOB thread, but I guess I must have since nobody else here meets this description.

To be honest though, I'm not sure that's a great thing - they haven't put out a really good album since A Senile Animal.

Also true.
Remember, though - even when THE MELVINS aren't amazing, they're still fucking great.
