@BillHilly - enjoy the show tonight
@Kittaan - Tank or Roaracle? When they initially announced SJ and Sacto only with big gap between, I was hoping for a show in the middle. I guess once they had a handle of basketball scheudle they were able to move forward.

Originally had floor seats. After viewing footage of KC/Louisville exchanged for lower bowl which appears to be the spot for the opening of the 2nd half...
Animals tour 2017 8-)

Never actually saw Pink Floyd.
First time I saw 3/4 Floyd was April '88 at Mile High.

What a setlist he's playing this tour! I'd love to hear songs like "One of these Days" and "Dogs" but not for $200 for a lower level seat. Also, the political stuff is a turn-off. You don't like Trump, we get it. We see enough of it already everyday. Just play your music. I hate when bands alienate their fanbase like that.

Lol, "please play Dogs, but no political stuff please."

@ Bonebroke - SJ for me this Wed.

I like that Roger holds to his moral and political convictions. But some of the messages do get a bit heavy handed.

@fortysixand2 You're right, on price, alienation and as @k said, heavy handedness.
the art should speak for itself.
It was written over 40 years ago (1977 is when Animals came out, but they played it during Wish U Were Here tour w/diff lyrics). When he sings 'Hey you white house, ha ha...' my understanding is that he is talking about a British woman who wasn't terribly, socially liberal. And the irony is that the lyrics (some would say) are most appropriate in 2017. Back then I had no idea what he was talking about. I don't need to see that face at his show, but the word 'resist' is prevalent out here and I'm up for seeing that album cover mit smoke stakes displayed in full on a Saturday night in Oakland.

So, I got a chance to see Us + Them this weekend. I've also been fortunate enough to see the Wall tour back in 2010. As far as performances go, it not only tops the Wall but also the Lateralus tour. It's that GOOD. The technology and visuals used for this show are the best I have ever seen.

His first album in 25 years that he just released, Is this the Life We Really Want, is also pretty fantastic; and I have no doubt it will become a classic. Nigel Godrich's production on this album is excellent. I was really not expecting this album to sound this good. I'm extremely impressed with Roger Waters right now. Don't take him for granted. If you have a chance to see this show, don't miss it and regret it later. He probably won't be around for much longer.

I enjoyed this concert although someone asked me politely if I could 'sit down for a few minutes' during slow part of Dogs.
After the first set I over heard a guy talking about the Denver show. Said everyone was standing.
Roger came over to our side (stage left) a lot during show.
He sounded really good. 73 years young, I'm impressed. Gets a lot of assistance from band but still.
Us and Them (the song) was powerful.
..oh and the lasers and smoke stacks were totally rad

bet someone from this group goes to one of these shows:
Maynard, Adam, Justin, Danny, Junior

San Jose show was amazing. Loved the stage show. Roger always brings it.

Had an amazing view, especially for the second set. My buddy Bobage saw the Denver show and another buddy caught him in Sac last night. Everybody loved it.
