Just read about this on Wired this morning. I don't really know much about Bill Hicks, other than what's been mentioned in Tool circles, but this looks like it could be a pretty good documentary.

Cori, if you've got Netflix, Blockbuster, whatever... queue up one of his many DVDs. He was an amazing performer, and you'll probably want to see them all. The production value isn't great on some releases, and there is overlap, but all of his performances are worth the time.
Unfortunately he died way too young, and we were deprived of so much more material from this guy.

Kittaan...thanks for the recommendation. Netflix has "Bill Hicks: Sane Man" from 1989 and "Bill Hicks Live" from 2004, and I've added both to my queue...alhtough it may be a while before I actually get to them. I just received the first disc in the Ewan McGregor/Charely Boorman travel documentary "Long Way Round". Something like 9 hours of them riding their mototcycles around the world. Hicks may be the perfect follow up to that. I'll be sure to let you know though.
