Sad news this morning in that it appears Volto! and Pigmy Love Circus guitarist John Z has recently suffered from a serious stroke. My understanding of the US Medical system, is that it’s mostly a joke, so financially John appears to be under much strain. I noticed a post on the Volto! Facebook page about Danny Carey participating in something called Drum Day. Looks like this is an held event in LA on April 8th which serves primarily as a show case for drum equipment. Adam Jones has revealed via Instagram that Tool‘s Aftershock show almost didn’t go ahead due to Danny suffering from a serious staph infection: ~ Great crowd at #AfterShock festival.
