Updates

I’ve been back up in Queensland this week, so things have been a little slow on updates for Fourtheye. Things should return to normal next week. Here’s a couple of items that have come across my desk:

For those that have missed the various comments, there is an interview of Maynard done by Patton Oswalt. Check it out here.

Ryan tells me that he’s selling his Signed Lateralus Vinyl on eBay. Bids started at $0 so it’s quite cheap at the moment. Don’t expect it to remain that way though!!  EDIT: Link has been changed to a relisted auction!

Finally, Blair has posted on Toolband/Army about the recently discovered Salival Vinyl. He assures us it is a bootleg and in now way officially sanctioned by the band. Buyers beware! He also mentions that there are no plans for 10,000 Days vinyl, but if and when he hears there there are, he will post it.

Organised Maynard

In a recent interview with The Pulse of Radio, Maynard talked about how Puscifer came about:

“The reason this has kind of come together more so recently is just the beauty of the Internet, and how you can actually get information out there and let people know you’re doing something more easily,” he said. “That, and I’m a little older and I’ve figured out a way to kind of organize my day. So when you’re sitting in some bunker somewhere in some city waiting to do a show, there’s these awkward amounts of downtime, and I’ve figured out a way to turn them into something.”

Thanks to Blabbermouth for the interview.

Maynard Interviews

Maynard spoke with Boston’s WBCN this morning and the interview can be found hereMaynard talks about Run Ronnie Run, Bill Hicks and stand up, fans abusing support acts, working in the vineyard, unusual items in the Puscifer store, Panic Room, A Perfect Circle, Puscifer, recording with the RATM guys and releasing music for free.  Quite a good interview and well worth checking out.  Oh and it’s pronounced Pussifer apparently.

Maynard is also taking over XM 48 Squizz  tomorrow.  He’ll be playing some Puscifer tracks and the post on Blabbermouth suggests “Maynard has something up his sleeve other than just introducing songs”.  If anyone has a link for this interivew (I can’t be bothered looking right now) then let me know, or post it below.

Maynard on Boston’s WBCN

Mquinn of Toolarmy today posted that Maynard will be appearing on Boston’s WBCN radio station.  He’ll be appearing on the afternoon show with Toucher & Rich sometime between 3pm and 7pm on the 29th of October.  5pm according to the website.  That’s 8am AEST on the 30th of October.  The station streams to the internet for those overseas/interstate fans who want to listen.

Presumably he’ll be talking to them about Puscifer.  No word on whether or not he’ll take the interview seriously.

Second Puscifer Video

In order to prove that it doesn’t neccessarily take two years to create a music video, Meats Meier‘s Myspace page is reporting that he’s working on a second Puscifer video.  He describes it by saying ‘ This one is going to be extra challenging for me, but a lot of fun!’.  Thanks to mrmanback for the tip.

Thanks to badkittygothgirl for posting the link to this picture.
