Salival on Ebay, Maynard Twitters

On of the signed copies of Salival is now available on Ebay.  Bidding starts at the original sale price of US$200.

Turns out Maynard has another Twitter account, this one more Puscifer related than Caduceus.  Last post was:

Just got the master of a new track I did with Renholder and Milla Jovovich. Listening 4 any flaws in the recording process. So far so good.

Twitter Updates

Not only does Maynard have a Twitter account, but so now does Fourtheye. Follow us at http://twitter.com/fourtheye to be notified when new articles are posted here. Enjoy!

More Salival, Other Bits…

I’ve got another couple of the Signed Salival shots for you all to enjoy, this time from Will and Korax.  Since I’ve got quite a few now I’ve started a new page where you can admire all of them.  Thanks to all the contributor so far and I welcome further submissions.

Dan emailed me this link the other day that suggests that a version of the King Crimson classic  Schizoid Man by Jeff Fayman featuring Maynard on vocals should see a release in 2009.

Finally, Joel send me a link to an interview SFGate.com did with Maynard, mainly talking about his wine-related escapades.

Finally, Maynard has been hit by the Twitter bug, and his can be found posting at http://twitter.com/caduceuscellars.

Maynard still waiting for music?

Think the new Tool album is getting close now? Suspect they might be in the studio? Maynard hoses it all down in his usual fashion:

Maynard will also be appearing on Comedy Bang! Bang! in an episode to be broadcast on May 15. Check your local TV guides!

Maynard on the Joe Rogan Podcast

There’s been a bunch of speculation lately that Maynard will be making an appearance on the Joe Rogan Podcast, and today via the magicks of Twitter it’s been confirmed:

maynard james keenan @puscifer is confirmed for july 27th

Should be an interesting interview. For those unfamiliar with Joe, he’s a stand up comedian who’s claim to fame (by Tool fans it seems) is that he’s a cannabis and mushrooms user.

Adam posts severed arm

I normally don’t get too carried away posting everything that various members of Tool put on social media, but it’s been a slow day so I’m going to make an exception. A few hours ago Adam tweeted the photo blow, which would appear to be a severed arm. What is interesting to me is the “toolband.com” plastered all over it. Image from the rumoured The Pot video perhaps?

Adam Jones plays National Anthem at WWE event?

Dusty sent me an email a few moments ago pointing me to a recent Tweet from WWE suggesting:

Here’s Tool’s Adam Jones moments after he crushed the National Anthem at #SummerSlam http://t.co/4FqyAoG

No doubt all you sport (and “not quite sport”) haters are considering suicide right now.  Don’t pull the trigger just yet – there will be a new Tool album eventually!

Anyone happen to see this on TV or live?

Update: here’s a bunch of other photo’s from the performance. Thanks Arizona Bay.

Update 2: Here’s a Youtube video without sound from BadKittyGothGirl

New Puscifer Track on Monday, Tool “Tweet”

According to quite a few sites out there, Man Overboard, the first track from the new Puscifer album Conditions of My Parole will be played on Monday morning.  According to metal.com:

If you’re awake in time, tune your radio at 9 am eastern/6 am pacific to Sirius XM 36 (Alt Nation) to hear Man Overboard as well as an in-studio interview with Maynard James Keenan, Matt McJunkins and Jeff Friedl. Hopefully for those of us who sleep in the track will also be replayed later in the day.
Spin will post a streaming version of the song Monday morning. The single, Man Overboard, will be available via iTunes, Amazon.com and through other digital service providers on Tuesday, July 19.

After hearing the short preview, I’m looking forward to hearing the full track.

In other news, there was a tweet on the Tool Twitter account, presumably by Maynard, which pointed to some Japanese Heavy Metal alleging that it’s in studio footage.  Think of that what you will…
