Velvet Slippers Club

Live in Arizona, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri,Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, Wisconsin or Wyoming?  Then you may want to join the Velvet Slipper Club.  This is basically a fan club for Maynard’s Caduceus Cellars.

There are a range of packages available, and each one entitles you to s shipment of wine on a regular basis, as well as a few other perks.  Entry isn’t especially cheap though, so it’s pretty much for wine buffs only.

Here is the overview:

Velvet Slipper Club (VSC) Members will receive a 3 bottle shipment 4 times a year.  In addition members receive a complimentary Flight tasting per shipment by visiting the Caduceus Tasting Room in Jerome, Arizona. (ID Required)
VSC Members will also receive prior notification of limited production boutique releases and Box Sets as well as invitations to pre-release events at the Tasting Room.

There’s a one off joining fee of $75, and then you select from a range of packages.  You can view more details or sign up here.  Membership is limited, so if you’re thinking of joining I’d suggest you do so sooner rather than later.

Red Rocks Confirmed! Puscifer DVD!

While not yet confirmed on Toolband, the 93.3 Website and AEG Live are showing that Tool are playing at Red Rocks, CO on to consecutive nights on the 28th and 29th of June (not that’s June not July).

I’m not 100% convinced by those dates yet, so wait for confirmation on Toolband, but seems extremely likely that this will go ahead at this awesome venue.  Two nights in a row is interesting as well, I’m sure there will be plenty of speculation in about them perhaps filming something that night…

In a recent Puscifer email, Maynard talks about some of the ups and downs in wine growing, as well as mentioning that Puscifer should have a Live DVD out in Spring next year.  There are also plans for a Wine Club called the Velvet Slippers Club which I imagine will distribute a range of Arizona wines including some of Maynards own.
