Back from a trip to Sydney today, and it’s good to see not much has changed in the world of Tool.
It looks like the Signed Lateralus Vinyl sale on Friday went reasonably well. For those that got a copy that is. There are numerous reports of network drop-outs, and much frustration related to this, but from what I gather it was available for around an hour between 11:30 and 12:30 PST (Pacific Standard Time?). Hopefully some of you guys managed to get a copy.
My man Nemesis sent me a couple of links to pictures on the Amazon website, which would appear to be the covers for the Schism and Parabola DVD’s. They look a bit plain to me but here they are:
Unusual, they’re DVD’s but the artwork is square, maybe special packaging?!?!
Yeah, I noticed that as well. I’d guess they’re going to be release in a CD size case rather than a DVD sized one.
They look a bit plain to me, considering the effort put into other Tool releases, I’d say there’s more to it than were seeing.
I can remember thinking the same thing about the Lateralus artwork the first time I saw the pictures. It didn’t really work for me until I had the cd case in my hands.
Have you ever seen the Secret1 section on Toolarmy?
It’s nothing really, on the right hand side of the menu there are 3 little black spots, one will take you home, the top one takes you to the secret ‘meditate’ screen.
I think that they are gonna be like Lateralus with the layers. I could be wrong but from the photos it looks that way.
