Tool in March after all?

Well it’s a slow news day so what the hell.  An anonymous writer on Wikipedia has written on the Adam Jones talk page that: The new album is set to release circa March 2006, info from Adam Jone’s nephew who, awesomely enough, goes to my school at LHS.  Think of this what you will.  I think they’re full of shit personally.

European Festivals, Adams Birthday

There’s plenty of rumours going around regarding Tool playing festivals around Europe this Norther Summer, including the previously mentioned Norwegian Festival. The lastest on is about them playing the Roskilde Festival. While there’s plenty of you out there who’d rather see Tool playing their own shows, it’ll still be nice to catch up with the guys, and I’m sure they’ll come back for a more extensive and intimate tour later… Read More »European Festivals, Adams Birthday

No Tool in March?

Blair has written on Toolband/Army that there will be a Spring 2006 Tool release, though it won’t be March.  Apparently they’re still working on the final mixing, segues, etc. For those mathematically inclined Blair has left a clue as to how much longer the mixing process has left until completion.  Feel free to post your results below…

Tool to play in Norway in July?

According Toolshed TV2 in Norway announced that Tool will be playing the QUART festival which is help from the 4th to the 8th of July. The festival website doesn’t seem to have any info confirming or denying this rumour, but hopefully for all of you Norwegian fans out there it’s true. Given the amount of Polish fans that have cropped up lately, I’m expecting a resounding “hi” from you Norwegians… Read More »Tool to play in Norway in July?

Volto @ The Knitting Factory

Blair on Toolband/Army reports that Volto are playing at the Knitting Factory in LA on Friday the 20th of January.  Tickets can be purchased here.  In case you don’t know, Danny drums for Volto

Polish Tool Website

Not sure how many Polish Tool fans read this site (feel free to say hi if there are!), but Tony emailed me this link to a cool Polish website: http://tool.spiral.xt.pl/ No english there, but with a bit of common sense most of you should be able to find, amongst other things, some great photo galleries of the guys from Tool, as well as some other multimedia samples.

More Signed Vinyl, New CD Details to come….

Blair posted on Toolarmy today, that it’s higly likely that there will be more Signed Lateralus Vinyl. Not details as yet, but as soon a “Merch” knows, all will be revealed. He also revealed that he has interviewed someone (a band member – it’s all to cryptic for me) regarding the New CD, and will be sharing this information as soon as he can transfer it from his voice recorder.

Signed Lateralus on Ebay

Looks like a copy of the Signed Lateralus has arrived on Ebay.  This time it appears to have legitimate pictures on it, and would appear to be located in Great Britain.  Starting bid is at 150 Pounds, which is apparently $351.64 Australian.  Holy shit!  If anyone out there is rich enough to buy it, send me pics so that it may be added to the Signed Lateralus Gallery. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4816385852
