The Bullshit Detector is ringing pretty loud at the moment I think that it’s pretty unlikely this is the real thing. The poster assures us of a scanned document confirming this, though at time of posting, nothing has been seen…..
Also mentioned in the same post is that there’s a Tool listening party in Amsterdam tonight (media only) so we may get some more leaked info in the next few days. Presuming of course on of the reporters is foolish enough to break the embargo.
Finally, theone333 mentions that he heard on Triple J that the Australian release date for the new album will be the 29th of April. They also said Tool arrive in Australia early next week.

Yeah, it does, I’m still a little baffled about a couple of things on it personally.
For example, why send something that confidential to a radio station 3 weeks before it should be announced? These days with email etc. I don’t see any reason why three weeks notice needs to be given.

you got a point about sending it 3 weeks prior…I guess tool’s recording company wanted everything set in place. 3 weeks, I mean really is not that far fetched. I know some bands who leak their info even earlier than that….
