May Release

Hello from Sunny Adelaide! Blair posted on Toolband/army recently that it’s most likely that the new CD will be released in May as opposed to April.  That’ll be good for all the Coachella attendees then who’ll get a sneak preview of the new songs….. There also would appear to be a track list going around.  Looks like bullshit to me, don’t believe the hype.

Le Zenith

Apparently it’s been confirmed that Tool are playing at Le Zénith in Paris, France on the 28th of June.  This supposedly is a suggestion that Tool may be playing shows other than festival dates.  I’m sure there’s plenty of Europeans fans hoping to hear that…. Thanks to Madkilkor on Toolnavy for that one.

Holidays!

  • Uncategorized

Just a quick heads up, I’m off to Adelaide for a couple of weeks, so while I hope to get online every couple of days, I may not be able to post as regularly as usual.  Hopefully we’ll hear some big news in the next few weeks though……

And Todays European Festival is…..

Pinkpop in The Netherlands *cheers* The usual offenders seem to be playing with them, and hi to all my mates in The Netherlands, wish I could go…. http://www.pinkpop.nl/page.php?pagID=203

Werkzeug in Deutschland

For you lucky Germans, Tool are also playing the Rock-Am-Ring Festival from the 2nd to the 4th of June.  Check out the website here: http://www.rock-am-ring.de/newsitem.html?objId=13 Thanks to the_betterfly on TA for that one. It’s also rumoured they’ll be playing the Leeds and Reading Festivals in the UK, and also Ruisrock in Finland.

Coachella Confirmed, Selma Stops Dancing

Blair on Toolband/army has confirmed that Tool will be the headline act for the Coachella Festival.  Apparently there will be more info in this in the next few days.  Not sure what other info they plan to supply, but if you want info regarding ticket sales etc. then I’d suggest you head over to the Coachella Website. Blair also mentioned that Selma has stopped dancing, and that the record was… Read More »Coachella Confirmed, Selma Stops Dancing

First Single – Visceral?

Ok, this is just some more speculation, based on a post by nocode4444 on Toolarmy, but he’s suggested a rumour that the first single will be called Visceral and that a possible picture from the video was posted on Camella’s Myspace site by Adam.  The picture has since been recognised as from else where, but considering the first single may be “P or V” as Obelisong hinted in the January… Read More »First Single – Visceral?

Greenfield Festival

I think it’s going to be a busy few weeks, since European Festival dates keep coming in almost daily.  The Swiss are the next to benefit with Tool being announced as playing at the Greenfield Festival. Hope you’re German/Swiss is better than mine, because there doesn’t seem to be a English translation yet (the English page only seemed to have last years line-up).  Placebo are playing as well apparently, and… Read More »Greenfield Festival
