Heavy rockers TOOL, who plan to release their new studio album in May, will hit Australian shores on August 8th for shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.

Thu August 10 – SuperDome – Sydney – Australia
Sat August 12 – Rod Laver Arena – Melbourne – Australia
Mon August 14 – Entertainment Centre – Adelaide – Australia
I sure hope it’s true, Tuesday night in Brisbane kinda sucks for me, but I’m sure I’ll be able to wrangle the time off. Be warned, I wouldn’t really consider this as confirmed so don’t get too excited.
August 12th in Melbourne!!!!! If that actually happens I now know where I will be celebrating my 26th birthday. First the piece in Kerrang, now this…even if it is a rumour I am still chuffed. It has been a good week.

I looked around and Tool probably won’t be playing at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne on Sat. Aug 12th because of the following event:

I think there’s a quite reasonable chance it’s not the real deal. In the same rumour Pearl Jam are said to be playing at the Telstra Dome in Melbourne, right in the middle of the footy season.
Anyway, we’ll have to wait and see…..
This is rubbish. Tool have been confirmed playing Japan August 12 & 13. That’s why this got taken off Toolshed when someone pointed it out.
