Here’s a brief Tool interview on the X-Press Online website. Although short, it actually has a couple of different questions to the usual interviews I’ve been reading.
Tool’s challenge now is to reproduce the epic live. The ultimate Tool show, Keenan says, is “A situation where we can set up a holographic performance and simulcast to different cities. To the point where even the audience is holographic for us. We can pick an audience and physically walk up to them, one ghost to another ghost, and other people could see this in their holograph of the universe.”
I wish maynard would stop spouting useless shit and just announce and aussie tour. less then $100 a ticket please too
an*
I wish people would stop bitching and moaning about the cost of tickets.
tickets used to be cheap. then ticketmaster inflated prices…
I know its not the bands fault. Hiring the venues and lugging all the gear around cost alot. Its the record companies who force them to raise the prices. Ticket prices have been steadily rising (as have many other goods and services) ever since the first concert was held, and there’s no point at which this will stop. The cost of touring travelling, and life on the road are getting more and more expensive, hence the increase in prices.… Read more »

Been a while so I may not be right, but $70 springs to mind.
Gee, thats pretty good. thats what most decent aussie acts charge now. Wolfmother is $60 at the horden and powderfinger were about $70 last time they played.
$60 for Wolfmother – WTF
They’re not THAT good…..
