For those interested, here’s a copy of the Press Release for the announced Tool Australian Tour in 2007:
https://www.fourtheye.net/download/Tool_2006.pdf
Edit: The PDF file seems to be buggered for some reason, so here’s a picture instead. CSS file seems back to normal somewhat know as well. Might do some more tweaking over the weekend. Anyone with layout/cpolour scheme suggestions, feel free to let me know, as it’s about time for a facelift.
I tried to get it and this is what it said…

The requested URL /download/Tool_2006.pdf was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
It didn’t work in firefox or explorer for me.
Same here. Nice new look though–mature.
Once you’ve seen Alex Grey’s artwork…you’ve seen them all. Same chakra mantra bullshit.
Cam de Leon>>>>>>>>>>>>Alex Grey
WHo agrees?
old but still relevant.

Now that’s fucking art!
Hmm, that’s wierd, the link is valid, but it appears there’s some kind of corruption in the file…
I’ll scan it and post a picture.
‘Anyone with layout/cpolour scheme suggestions, feel free to let me know, as it’s about time for a facelift.’
Ditch Alex Grey…needs more Cam de Leon.
im sure the tour will go very well considering the press release doesnt even have the correct url for tickitmaster
Thanks for finally posting something constructive. I don’t think I’ll be using Cam’s stuff though, neither do I plan to use Alex’s.
Sounds good
“additional appearneces/ queensland” yay, although if they are not announced soon there will be trouble.
i have decided i will buy the syd tickets and if a brissie show is announced, ill sell em to fourtheye peeps.
I very much doubt those additional appearances will be anything other than Big Day Outs.
just kill my hopes and dreams!
hahahahaha look what i found.
maybe doors could buy this cd — tool is just a little heavy for him

lol chk it out its fucking hilarious.
i reccomend schism!
Hey Replayee, you know you wanna hang out with all you’re Fourtheye homies in Sydney anyway….
i like that 4th-eye is light and optimistic, and not dark and presumptious like all other tool-related pages.
i’d really like it better if clicking an external link would open a new window, rather than browse away from 4th-eye.
I’d really like it if we got money for each time we visited this website but it ain’t gonna happen… but, yes, Fourtheye is good. Kudos to all involved!
I don’t think I could listen to that CD for long…
And I agree, I like that Fourtheye isn’t so dark.
Fourtheye Will stay with a light colour scheme, since I agree with all of those points about. In fact I deliberately went with white to avoid the darkness prevalent in other Tool sites.
Meme, I won’t be opening external links in another window. This is because I personally object to websites which presume the user wants things in new windows all the time. Personally, I’d suggest you use Firefox, or maybe then new version of IE and use the right-click option to “Open in a new Tab”
thats the way hellboy. but i prefer just to click in the scroller on the mouse on the link and it opens a new tab as well
Whoa. I didn’t know that.
i use maxthon (?!) here at work – that’s what they installed… and i just need to drag the link slightly, rather than clicking it, to open it in a new tab. i just remember how annoying it was for me to constantly have to “back” (which, btw, i can now do by simply right clicking and moving my mouse to the left.. “gestures” they call it…) when i was using IE, simply because i didn’t open the mtv article (or whatever it was) in a new window, falsely trusting 4theye to want me to stick around… oh, and the… Read more »
Yeah, I can see the comment box sucks. Will try and adjust that today.
kirk hammett played sober on stage with tool in hawaii. it’s on blabbermouth somehwere…cbf posting it.
Hammett>>>Jones
Yeah, I know, and meh, it’s not that newsworthy.
I like the new deftones song though.
Hole in the earth
its not bad. reminds me of another band though.
just a question that i had never thought about until now for some reason.
maynards kid??
what does he do while the band is on tour
neglection???
i wouldnt think that he takes him with him
nah
he’s got the devil for babysitter…
Hole in the Earth… I’m sad to say I don’t like it. Which sucks ‘cuz I’m big into Deftones.
It’s no Hexagram/Minerva/Lucky You/Back to School/Digital Bath/ Change/Rx Queen/Teenager/Passenger/Mascara/Bored/7 Words etc. Which sucks ‘cuz I’ve waiting for this album for awhile. Hope it’s just a crappy single and a poor example.
But that’s just me.
I’m not really blown away by it either. Maybe it’ll grow on me a little.
Detones has always been a bit hit and miss for me though. I thought they were a great live band, and White Pony was really good, however I just can’t get excited about any of their other stuff.
welll.. it’s not terrible. it just doesn’t rise up to religious levels.
i guess the scene’s just like that these days…
