Bennet tells me that there may be some Tool tickets left at the Ticketmaster in Martin Place. Apparently there is/was a sign say so, and a friend of his went in and was able to buy some gold (seated) tickets. No guarantees there are any left, or if this is legit in the first place, but for those of you who are desperate to see them, it’s worth getting in there to check out.
Good luck!
That’s awesome news; though being four hours from a ticketmaster venue, unfortunately i can’t check it out. On a similar note, i bought tickets to G3 online 45 minutes ago. it took two minutes; straight in, straight out, no hassles. That’s one point to ticketek, and minus several million to ticketmaster! Are people still keen to meet up at the EC before the TooL concert? Oh, and totally unrelated; my girlfriend got me an authentic signed picture of Maynard for our two year anniversary. What a beautiful girlfriend!!!!
Awesome news. Send us a pic of the Maynard picture, love to see what it’s like.
It’s is a little unfair comparing getting tickets to Tool and getting tickets to G3. I doubt there’s anywhere near as many Joe Satriani fans as their are Tool fans.
Adam Jones:
“I think that if you want to learn theory, how to read music and scales, then GIT’s great. But if you want to be in a band and write music, then you should just be in a band and write music. I think people like Steve Vai are so boring. My approach is to be part of a band that makes music, not hit songs. I mean, we started this band just to have fun. We weren’t trying to “make it”; we just tried to keep it going. There’s a big difference.”
good one dickhead.
I don’t get your point?
The ‘Steve Vai’ boring comment. Take a look in the mirror, pal.
Ah well, one man’s boring is another man’s guitar wankery I suppose. I personally think Steve Vai is kinda boring too, but hey I must be a dickhead as well…
you’re a gentleman and a scholar hellboy. 🙂
I don’t agree with this. Not at all.
But I wont start bitching because some genuine fan who missed out before may benefit from this. Lucky bastards though.
The new Evanescence album is quite a nice surprise.
Well guys…I got tickets. I had a man on the ground at Martin Place this morning…

The red rectangle is us. :).
To say the least, I’m VERY happy about this ;).
Nice work Zebra, buy any tickets for me?
