Hi Everyone, the wedding went really well, and thanks to all of you for wishing us well. I’ve got a few quiet days before I head off to the US on holidays. A couple of things came across my desk while I wasn’t paying attention:
Ronnie from New Zealand has emailed me a link to the second part of the NZ TV3 interview with Danny and Adam. Haven’t had a chance to watch it yet but Ronnie tells me it contains stuff about the album notes of 10,000 Days and Sacred Geometry.
Big Day Out tickets go on sale on Friday the 13th of October. I’ll be out of the country so if anyone wants to offer to buy me a ticket for the Sydney show, let me know via email and we’ll sort something out.
It looks like Mastodon will be touring with Tool for pretty much all of the European tour, and not just a couple of dates like previously suggestion. The ‘Don will also be playing on the Conan O’Brien Show on the 1st of November as well. Thanks to mskintx for the tip.
That’s about it for now. Looks like the voting is going well, so keep them coming. Votes will remain open until I get back from honeymoon in a couple of weeks. There have also been a couple of late entries which I may post shortly….

but hey gold coast bdo is the first place in aus to see tool so yay for us. they will probably be real excited and play third eye and 10000 days at the goldie bdo and by the time they get to sydney it will have worn off and you will just get all the superficial hits.

I’ll be very surprised if there are any more Tool shows announced. And yes, at the moment Tool are pretty much the only reason for going to the Big Day Out at the moment, though I don’t mind Peaches or Muse.
Monday January 22nd is a possibility for an extra show in Brisbane however I don’t expect it to happen. If the Gold Coast BDO tickets sell extremely well then there’s a chance that Tool might add a Brisbane show. The reason I am optimistic is that back in 2002 Tool had shows planned for Monday night in Brisbane (22/04/02) and Wednesday night in Sydney (24/04/02) amongst others. I’m still surprised that they are coming over as part of a festival. Im still thinking that they will come back towards the end of the tour. although i dont wanna get my hopes up…

Unfortunately, the world is such that it should concern everyone who runs America, and I don’t really think the USA is a democracy as it’s people believe it is. For that matter I don’t think Australia is much better off. Anyway, it’s supposed to be a light hearted joke – lets get over it.
