Happy Birthday to Justin (it was yesterday actually, the 19th of November). According to Wikipedia, that would make him 36. Congrats from all of us at Fourtheye. In order to honour Justin, take a look at this weeks poll.
Last week we asked who (apart from Tool) you would like to see on the Big Day Out. It comes a no surprise to me that Muse are the band of choice, and it also doesn’t surprise me that many of you are somewhat unexcited about the bands announced so for. It also turns out that 11 of you want to see a band I hate with every bone in my body. Good for you! For the record, here’s the list of votes:
- Muse 92 votes
- “Oh the Humanity” 46 votes
- Someone not listed 17 votes (feel free to comment below and tell us who you are interested in!)
- Trivium 15 votes
- The Crystal Method 14 votes
- Peaches 13 votes
- The Violent Femmes 12 votes
- The Killers 12 votes
- John Butler Trio 11 votes
- The Butterfly Effect 7 votes
Note: Those of you who are having problems voting, will probably find that the solution can be rectified by clearing your cookie, in particular ones for Fourtheye with the value “demvote”. This is caused by the recent update and the polls being renumbered starting from 1 again. After this weeks poll the problem should sort itself out. Enjoy!
i’ll be up the front for peaches. look for the guy flossing his teeth with her rubix cubes
Ooh this week’s poll is a tough one – so many good songs. I’ve narrowed my vote down to 46 & 2, 10000 Days and The Pot. Hmmmm… maybe I’ll decide later.
By the way, Justin is only 35 years old. Peace
I can’t vote, mayb hellboy had something to do with it.
Please put me up for Paul>Justin please.
Justin > Paul.
Tool is more diverse now than ever, and I think that the beginning of Schism is a great riff

As I said, if you clear your cookies you should be able to vote. If not, you’ll just have to abstain until the next poll.
btw. I put Paul > Justin just for you….
Eh.. Good. I shouldn’t vote on this one anyway. I wouldn’t know what I was talking about.
I reckon it would be pretty cool if Justin himself actually visited this site and voted. I wonder which songs he thinks are his best…?

I’m gonna take a gamble and say that you are not Justin Chancellor…
Shame on me. I voted too quickly. Should have thought that through. Ah well. Looks like my later decision is going to win regardless.
And I’ll gamble. You’re not Justin. 😉
Big Day out I’m hoping for more international heavyweights like:
Audioslave, Primus or similar. The lineup lacks depth for me and I’ll be dissapointed if there isn’t other BIG headlines. I can see JBT at Woodford Folk festival really so I think it’s the wrong gig for them really.
The right gig for the John Butler Trio in my opinion would be the one announcing their breakup, or possibly involving some kind of catastrophic disaster. (man, now I’m starting to sound like Doors)
The worst concert i have ever been to was JBT, I couldn’t stop thinking about how much my legs were hurting, from all the standing I was doing. Sorry Shervo they might be better next time.
