Signed Vinyl, Photos, Volto!, Isis

Greasy on Toolarmy today pointed out to us that there’s some more Signed Lateralus Vinyl on Ebay at the moment.  Bidding on this one starts at $300, and as I write this there have been no bids.  Here’s the link.

The Tool Hotline woke up from their deep slumber to post a couple of things.  Firstly there’s this gallery of photos from a recent show in France. Secondly they mention that Volto! are playing a couple of shows, on on December 29 at the Baked Potato, and the other at the Knitting Factory on January 13.  Check out the hotline since there’s a couple of photo’s of the guys linked there.

Finally, Blair on Toolband/Army tells us that Aaron Harris from Isis will be featured in the January 2007 issue of DRUM! magazine. Blair hints that he may be talking about the Mandala drums.

Unrelated to this post, but i found Rolling Stones list of the 100 best songs of the year.

It’s pretty bad, and since i saw wolfmother play dimension at the BDO in 04 then i dont think it really qualifies.

Pretty bad?

It’s bad because Tool isn’t in the Top 100?

Maybe RS will release the Top 200-300 songs of 2006. That will make you happy.

its pretty bad because there wasnt a song in the top 30 that i’d ever put on (i didnt bother going past the 3rd page). im with Hellboy, i dont care if tool made it in, its rolling stones opinion of the top 100, not mine, and never expect much from rolling stone.

Justin timberlake is in it…no sorry horrib top 10. I do like the ganrls barkley song though.

if you check out the top 50 albums, tool came in at #38. pretty shitty comment though, so think what you will. i reckon you are either a tool fan or you’re not, there doesn’t seem to be much middle ground
