Last weeks poll asked who who you would prefer see Tool tour with again. This options ai gave were made up of artists Tool have toured with in the last couple of tours. I was somewhat surprised to see King Crimson win the poll. I knew they were popular amongst Tool fans but didn’t expect them to win the poll. I voted for Tomahawk based pretty much on the fact that they’re my favorite band on that list, but really I’d be happy seeing any of the bands on that list. Here are the results:

So when you say you want Aenima 2, you want the same style record again, or are you after the kind of Undertow -> Aenima progression that was shown?

I don’t know what you think they speak for, but to me it says that so far 11 people (or about 16%) of the want Aenima 2 for Xmas. Does this mean they want more songs in the style of Aenima, or an Aenima Style progression? I don’t know, but I figure it’s probably more songs in the style of Aenima.
So based on that I’d say it actually proves very little.

Rezro and Bak, are you being serious or joking? I’m really surprised that anyone who wants Tool to stay the same as they were 10 years ago would even be interested enough to check sites like this out. Haven’t you given up hope by now?
Also, I could see how one might argue that 10,000 Days isn’t a huge leap forward from Lateralus. But they’ve obviously progressed since Aenima. What do you think of Lateralus?

Also consider that everything there (except Aenima 2, which was really a joke) is something either available or rumoured to be coming soon.
