Blair has posted a very Australian themed newsletter on Toolband/Army today, obviously in celebration of the upcoming tour. As usual it’s pretty light on Tool info, but heavy on weirdness.
Did anyone notice that in one paragraph Blair mentions “the grudge”, “eulogy” and “Jimmy”? Knowing Blair he could be messing with us but hopefully some of those songs or others will be played…
Would be nice to see any of those three songs again, but I’m not holding my breath just yet. I guess in a couple of days time our Kiwi friends will be able to let us know if there’s any changes to the setlist.

he also spoke of ticks….crawling away…he is such a tease. All of his talk of packaging via the special suit, also brought to mind Commercial packaging…like for a DVD…

Yes there is a tinge of jealousy. But it is warranted solely for the reason that he is an ugly old fuck who needs to be replaced. Honest to god I haven’t read a single newsletter since 10,000 Days came out and I feel a lot better for it.

Fair enough. Personally I couldn’t care less who Tool choose to do their newsletters. And not all of Blair’s stuff is that bad…

On an Australian note, don’t forget to vote for the Triple J hottest 100. I think voting closes this sunday. All the latest Tool songs are there just begging to be voted for. Tool in the top 10 would be pretty cool.

I have never seen a pro shot live clip of Tool before but with Channel V being at the BDO to record it for TV do you think we will get to see Tool? I mean they are the headliners…

Why would breaking his arm cause them to pull out? If I remember correctly Mark Lenegan from the Screaming Trees performed with a broken leg there many years ago without a problem.
