Tool snub fans?

According to this “live” blog about todays Big Day Out, Tool have pulled out of a meet and greet session with ten fans.  According to the post:

Some stars are too big for their boots. A reliable source just tipped us off that BDO headliners Tool have pulled out of a meet and greet with ten die-hard fans.

The Rock radio station ran the competition for three months giving the lucky winners the chance to meet their idols. After thinking their dreams had come true the devastated fans were told the shock news just half an hour before they were supposed to meet the band.

Poor form guys, poor form.

I can’t say I’m that surprised, but it’s pretty dissappointing regardless.  I’m sure there’s lots of reasons why Tool may have pull out of this. Hopefully there’s a legitimate reason other than “they couldn’t be bothered”.
