No Tool news this week, so I thought I’d just write about a recent Tool-related event that happened in my house the other day.
We had the building inspector come in to check out our house the other day (for those that are interested, it has been sold and we’ll be back in Adelaide shortly). While examining the study, the inspector noticed my various Tool items hung up on the wall, including my Platinum Lateralus plaque.
The inspector added 2 and 2 and came up with 5, saying to my wife does your husband play in that band? Obviously he also noticed my guitar collection in the same room, and figured I was a musician.
Jo replies no, I’m not in the band, and that it’s just a decoration on the wall. She went on to say that it was from Tool, and how I’m obsessed, etc. to which the inspector replies:
Oh yeah, I’ve heard of Tool, they’re a Country and Western band aren’t they?
