Maynard and his know it all fucking opinions…who the fuck watches a live bootleg and doesnt go see the band for that reason, fucking ridiculous attitude he has. He needs to get over himself.
I agree with you Dan, the only reason I’d not see a band after seeing a live video is if the live show seemed crap. I think most people can “feel” the difference between watching it on TV and actually being there.
I have my issues but .. I agree with him in what diference the experience may be after that.. besides i think audio is far better for it (i dont care about the legal issues in piracy and that shit) In some cases , choosing not to go to a concert may happen ,in a less percentage of people yes.. but maybe more with a decent quality video/audio….Official kind I think a recording ,for how kind of good it may be only helps , for wanting to go and experience a tool concert, but that because i like tool ..… Read more »
Its funny how all these people on the message boards I visit follow the band around and see multiple shows and their the ones with huge tool bootleg collections with 5 sources from each show or whatever, yet they still go to the shows. I like this band it just bothers me that maynard went from being down to earth to god between aenema and lateralus. I think the other band members have a problem with maynards attitude if you watch their facial expressions during interviews when maynard blesses us with his godlike opinions.
