A new post on Toolband/Army tells us that Tool will be touring later this year, but it won’t be in Australia:
Although no dates are officially confirmed at this point, it appears that TOOL will be touring the WEST COAST of the USA from mid-NOVEMBER until X-MAS. As soon as these shows are confirmed, I will post the dates and venues on the websites.
No word on if that tour includes the rumoured Halloween dates.
I don’t think this is good news for Australian or New Zealand Tool fans. I suspect this will be the last tour before the go back into hibernation, since I can’t see Tool doing an Aussie tour after these dates, and I don’t think they’d wind up playing Australian shows. Better start saving for the next tour in 5 years time I’d guess…..
